I am originally from Port Elizabeth, where I completed my schooling and tertiary education. My intention was to pursue a career in Human Resources and so I completed a degree majoring in Industrial Psychology and Sociology. After sensing a call to ministry, as part of the discernment process I worked for a local Presbyterian church and then joined a Training in Mission program with CWM.
After that, I managed a shelter for street children under the organisation Youth for Christ. In 1999 I returned to being a full-time student and completed a Bachelor of Theology at UKZN. On 25 January 2003, I was ordained to the Ministry of Word and Sacrament. I have had the privilege of being in ministry at NDPC since January 2003 and have since gone on to complete both my honours and masters in theology.
